Interestingly enough, the Passion Fruit has no aphrodisiac qualities, and the name has nothing to do with romantic passion. Instead, it was named by Catholic missionaries (who certainly don't approve of hankey pankey). They thought it had religious connotations. The flavour of Monin Passion Fruit syrup is so intense, and so fragrant that it goes great in many delicious cocktails.
