
A refreshing Apéritif to enjoy on a warm afternoon (perhaps in the south of France, if at all possible). 30&40 Double Jus is made using a blend of pommeau (an apple-based spirit), Calvados (another apple-based spirit) and rum (not made of apples, but... Oh, you know what rum is), and the combination is aged in oak barrels for an additional hint of spice. Suitable for a variety of cocktails and mixed drinks - we particularly like serving it in a spritz, though it's more than suitable for serving simply with tonic and a fresh slice of apple.
Toffee apples, tropical fruit, treacle and fresh citrus blossom.

I tried 30&40 in my local pub in Putney, The Crabtree. They were serving Pomme Spritz. 50ml Double Jus, 150ml Tonic Water, Lemon wedge to garnish. One of the best spritz style drinks I've ever tried. Just bought a couple of bottles for my new home staple
Amazing cooked apple flavour - had with it with ginger ale, loads of ice and lemon ( multiple times ..... ) which is easily done because it's not too strong

Liquid tarte tatin! Pomme Spritz - 50ml Double Jus, Fever Tree Med Tonic, garnish with Rosemary and Lemon Peel.
So delicate and complex with tonic; bowls me over every time.
