A moonshine made by Tim Smith from Climax, Virginia (featured on the Discovery Channel show 'Moonshiners'), using a combination of barley, rye and corn. The majestic dog on the label is Camo, a Catahoula Leopard dog who faithfully sits by Tim Smith's side.
Sweet notes of corn and sugar cane. A little bit of peppery cinnamon.

As a viewer of the moonshine tv series this is something Iv wanted to try for years, while on holiday in Florida I tried several other 'shines' but all were very heavy corn flavoured and quite horrible. The flavoured shines from Midnight Moon are lovely but finally Master Of Malt have Tim Smith Climax shine in stock. Everything I hoped for, sweetness of the corn, maltyness and peppery fire from the Rye, for shine this really is fantastic stuff, on the nose I personally don't like the smell as the corn has a sweet but sickly smell, but there is a hint of scotch mixed bourbon and rye going beyond the initial hit of corn. Taking a 'sup' you have syrup and vanilla from the corn with a really well rounded spice and pepper from the rye, I love it, just please keep it in stock and if your reading this,m and willing to try new things, buy a bottle. Fantastic with a cigar to!
