A rounded, medium bodied spiced spirit drink (to be classified as a rum, it needs to be 37.5% abv) known the world over. Captain Morgan's Spiced is great value for money, and needs little introduction.

Allspice and vanilla. Huge cinnamon notes, freshly grated nutmeg, black pepper and rich Black Forest Honey.
Demerara sugar, smoky molasses and a big whack of cloves, nutmeg and sweet cinnamon.
Medium-length with sweet spices.
Not good and not rum
If I could give this new recipe a negative review I would. Captain has been my go-to for 10 years, never gave me a hangover or made me sick. Now, I get physically ill, blackout, beligerebtnr drunk and extreme hangovers with just a few shots or mixers. It is similar to the effect of being drunk off off cheap tequila or budweiser. Horrible. Won't touch it again unless it changes back.
For its price, its a killer in a Rum and Cola and gives its own twist to a Cuba Libre. Compared to a Sailor Jerry or Kraken it feels like their diluted versions without their own twists added. I do have to say both are still better, but that seems to show in the price too, at least in Finland. To me it seems everybody rating it 1 star is trying to rate it as a sipper that it literally has never been supposed to be.
I like it with Pepsi Max. Good value spiced rum
Ordered 2 capt and cokes, we thought the bartender used Kessler instead of Capt. She said she went through same argument the night prior with another customer. Definitely not the good ole Capt. we were used to.
