This exceeded my expectations by far. First of all, the opportunity to try distillate before it’s aged is such a great experience. It allows one to gauge what flavors are brought on by cask maturation. Second, and this was the surprise, it tastes great. Perfectly drinkable on it’s own, it’s rich and smooth. Five Stars for the opportunity and experience. If you like Bourbon, this is a must try.
Tastes so buttery and u can taste corn like buttered corn or popcorn. Actually toffee popcorn. Wow. Unaged wheres all this flavour from. Very warming too.
Great shine, a pleasure to sip neat. At 125 proof smoother and less fire bite than many 80 proof bottelings.
Agree with previous reviews: the abv packs a punch, but the warming corn butteriness is lovely. It’s outstanding in an old fashioned split 1:1 with a regular bourbon.
