Announced in 2017, Worth Park's Single Estate Reserve is one of the first official releases from the distillers in Jamaica, with other bottlings from Worthy Park released under the Rum-Bar name. This expression is drawn from American oak bourbon barrels and has been bottled at 45% ABV. Really impressive stuff.
Coconut, Toffee Crisp bars, ginger root, grassy funk with a touch of tobacco.

Lovely flavoured rum with a nice afterburn
I guess it depends on what it is you're looking for, but for me, this is too basic On the nose, I get funk, varnish and marzipan, all pretty mild and balanced. Tasting, I get similar. A brief eruption of funk, and then sweetness, followed by dry woody varnish. It's very drinkable, but very simple, and dominated by funk. Personally, I'm looking for a bit more than than that. Hampden offers so much more depth and complexity for just a few dollars more
A genuinely nice example of a Jamaican rum. Funky start. Sips very well. Smooth on the finish.
A must try malternative, Ralfy recommended! Burnt caramel, toffee, the coconut is there also & ofc bansna notes as always. Quite light with a dry finish. One ice cube no more.
