Independently bottled Demerara rum from the Uitvlugt distillery in Guyana, matured for 26 years before being bottled by Silver Seal. There were only 219 of these produced as part of the Rum is Nature series.
Toasted tobacco and savoury cooking herbs (think thyme and basil). Sweeter hints appear in the form of ripe pear and plum, with a whiff of shortbread underneath.
