From the very same people in Cornwall behind the Tarquin's Gin range comes Twin Fin Spiced Golden Rum! This expression brings together pot-still rum from Jamaica and column-still rum from the Dominican Republic, which is combined with a spice mixture including vanilla and orange that's distilled in a flame-fired copper-pot still. To this, a touch of Pedro Ximénez sherry is added, and it's then allowed to rest over oak chips.
Clove-studded orange, guava, a touch of banana, very slightly grassy at points, molasses, soft oaky smoke, brandy snaps and gingerbread.
As far as rum goes it's definitely not the best however it is certainly drinkable and at under £20 i thought it worth a go I'm now on the 3rd bottle probably not to drink on ice but great with pepsi
It's a ok rum, light in colour. Not spiced like usual rums, got a cream soda type of aftertaste with coke. Not horrible and drinkable but not my favourite spiced rum.
What a load of crazy reviews! I'm the only person to give 4 stars which is the only rating a sensible person could give. No it's not diplomatico, there's not a great deal of sophistication, nor, contrary to these odd reviews is there a lot of banana! I'll tell you what there is; there's salted, spiced oranges with a decent burn moderated with vanilla. In other words a great Christmas rum (although I'm enjoying a glass in June!). Forget these critical reviews, this is a nice drink for the price
one of the worst iv tried by a mile, used it in the end to mak a rum punch and you could still taste the wieird taste of it
The smell is like a chemical fruit basket, aftertaste is pepto bismol for hours. Nothing else happens inbetween
$31.49 - $55.10
