This expression is a blend of predominantly unaged rums, and rhums from Jamaica and Martinique. The combo of rich, bold, Jamaican funk with the vibrant, grassy notes of Martinique make this a superb choice for Daiquiris and the like, and this special edition has been bottled at a big, bold 59% ABV, which ought to excite bartenders and rum buffs across the land.

I'm reviewing this as a sipping rum; I don't do cocktails or mixing!!! I really liked the 42% ABV original release of the Signature Blend #1 and this 59% has taken the rum to an entirely new level. Very easy to sip and a real pleasure. I would have liked a tad more Jamaican funk but accept that's not to everyone's taste. Very 'clean' and refreshing, despite the ABV.
