Delightfully spicy with demerara, vanilla, toasted almonds, thick toffee and oak furniture.
Creamy, raisins, wood spices, hints of hazelnut.
Long with eclair sweets.
I’m not ordinarily a rum drinker but visited Barbados recently and tried the St Nicholas Abbey 5 year old and liked it a lot so I thought I’d treat myself to a bottle of the 15 year old. WOW. It is gorgeous. Smooth, creamy, raisins and warmth. What a find. 10/10
