A botanical rum from the Spirited Union Distillery over in Amsterdam, this Spice & Sea Salt expression combines just that. The rum base is infused with Guatemalan cardamom, Madagascan clove and vanilla, Peruvian cacao and finally, sea salt from the Salt Valley of Añana in the Basque Country.
Well balanced sweet, spicy and salty notes, with a citrus and floral start fading into sweet vanilla, aromatic spices and a somewhat nutty finish.

Great tasting rum. The salt comes through as a pleasant aftertaste. Would be great in cocktails.

Was looking forward to this rum arriving after having seen their promo online. First, the bottle is particularly nice looking and well made and the cork is a particularly nice touch. As for the taste - delicious. There is a great balance between the spice notes and the rum not being too sweet! Very drinkable - maybe too drinkable - could be dangerous. I think this rum would be well suited to a number of mixers.

Can't see this one last long. Far removed from decent rum.
