The Salford Spiced Rum is something of a tribute to the dock workers who helped bring the city's Caribbean rum and spice imports through Salford Docks during the 1800s. It was fittingly distilled close to the old docks, then blended and infused with vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and dried fruits. The amazing Salford map that features on the bottle was designed by Manchester artist "DaveDraws".
Supple vanilla, dried fruits and plenty of winter spice.

MoM tasting notes are pretty accurate, vanilla, some fruit and plenty of winter spice. Nice neat but works well with a mixer also, I tried it with a little coconut water which has been nice.
I like this rum a lot! Full disclosure, I’m not a huge spiced rum fan. I’m more into flavoured rums. But I love this because I found it to be sweet from the vanilla & zingy from the dried fruits, with zero alcohol burn. Then, even more so when mixed with Coca-Cola!
Complex and perfect for sipping. Smoky cloves come to mind. Perfect to alternating each night with Rumbullion Spiced rum
Excellent rum... From dark and dreary Salford of all places. This truly is an outstanding small batch spiced rum that is really easy to drink, too easy at times. From the bottle itself, the artwork and the contents this is an essential purchase.
One of my favourite spiced rums. Not usually a fan of white/light rums but this is truly exceptional and a much better flavour than their dark rum.
