Ron Piet rum comes from the same folks behind Knut Hansen Gin! Distilled in Panama, after a decade in bourbon barrels the rum is bottled in Germany, with the angular hexagonal bottle complete with cork and all.
Ripe and fruity, fresh orange is followed by banana and vanilla pod, leading into coconut and creamy spices.
Sweet and bland, no redeeming features. Definitely won't buy again.
For me this is the one, I usually drink diplomatico exclusiva/ de familia and Eldorado 12 but I find this smoother, I bought another bottle after my first glass it's that good!
