Molasses and chocolate. Hints of cocoa butter, creamy vanilla, soft spice and hay.
Very oily. Smooth, supple notes of fruit and spice. A little cocoa and caramel.
Vanilla and soft smoke on the finish.

I find that pampero Aniversario, Diplomatico and Eldorado 12 are all in the same sphere. All 3 have excellent complex flavor and are what I consider relatively inexpensive rums. Pampero Aniversario is my favorite......but I was a whiskey guy for a long time and whiskey guys tend to enjoy Pampero Aniversario much more than non whiskey drinkers. Anyway I would recommend pampero to anyone that wants to enjoy a great tasting sipping rum that wont't break the bank!

The best rum.
This is one huge disappointing and waste of money. You can't compare it to El Dorado 12, which is even cheaper and much much better. They actually use caramel, nothing more to say.. Its good for baking-not drinking
this is a fabulous sipping rum. in our family known as truth serum - perfect for late night chats.
