Usually one of my favourite sipping rums. I’ve had 7-8 bottles over the last 2-3 years. Other reviews agree. However… I took delivery of 2 more from MoM, and this is like a completely different rum. Harsh, overspiced, nothing like the usual. In my opinion, only good as a mixer. What has happened? Is it just a bad batch? Very disappointed to have to find a new favourite. I also emailed the distillery in Cuba… sadly, no response ☹️

Better rums are probably available but I can’t imagine that the search would be worthwhile. No faults in this one and I’m sure that no greater pleasure is available at the price.
