Pusser's 'Gunpowder Proof' Black Label (previously known as Blue Label) is a higher proof traditional British Naval rum, produced using the blending recipe from the Admiralty. Well loved, it picked up a Trophy at the International Spirits Challenge 2016.
The nose is full of dried fruits, dates, prunes, slightly overripe figs. The palate is very sweet, plenty of dark, syrupy, stewed fruits. An interesting pot still character with a pleasant muddiness. Full-bodied. The finish is incredibly long and dark.

As the title suggests i like a good whisky but this Pussers Admiralty issue really stands high in both taste and value ... look no further this is as good as Rum gets
once tasted never forgotten
Despite its strength drink it neat. Its smooth sweet and flavoursome and tastes of molasses. (the sugar product, not the burrowing mammals bottoms). Seriously this is a great value rum, try it, savour it! Enjoy! If they drank these tots at Trafalgar no wonder the English won!
After many years in the navy my husband is still saying this is the best drink he has ever tasted
This rum is fantastic, but it only truely shines, I believe, if it's watered down slightly. Without water there is a distracting sulphur to the palate and finish. With water it's exceptional.
