Superb Mexican rum, produced from a single variety of sugar cane, the morada. The cane is wild fermented before distillation in a six-plate copper column still, resulting in a vibrant, herbaceous, vegetally sweet profile.
I was introduced to this rum when our Discord Group included it in one of our Tasting Evening. For me, it's a delicious sipping rum but I don't do cocktails, so have no idea how it would work!
