From the San Carlos Distillery in Panama, a nine year old rum distilled from Cuban style sugar cane molasses. This spends three years in ex-bourbon casks, before moving over for a generous six year finishing period in Tennessee and Canadian rye whiskey casks! A fantastic expression, supremely sippable and with excellent body, this would work well in many a cocktail.
Smooth butterscotch and stone fruits – peaches, apricots, and raisins. Bananas fried in butter and brown sugar with a dusting of dried coconut, and rich, deep charred wood throughout.
