MarlinSpike Rum is made using a combination of aged rums distilled in Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica and Barbados. Not only is it a wonderful spirit to use in cocktails and mixed drinks (the producers even suggest trying it with tonic!), a portion of the yearly profit of MarlinSpike is donated to a global non-profit organisation to help support the maintaining of the oceans. Good stuff!
Toasted coconut shavings, soft cedar, vanilla pod, brown sugar and sharp pineapple sweetness.
I recently bought 12 bottles of Marlin Spike Rum Caribbean blend to make cocktails with. I wanted a pure rum with no added spices/flavours. I couldn’t have made a better choice. Made MS Rumaritas using 1 part MSR, 1 part Cointreau,,1/2 part lime juice and agave syrup to taste. I made it in very large jugs and it went down so well people kept asking me to make more!! Many people don’t like tequila so this was an excellent alternative. Just wish you stocked MSR Pacific and Atlantic blends too!!
Unlike any run i have tasted. Would highly recommend trying. I have found my favourite
I have bought a bottle for a 60th pressie and one for me as it’s delicious!! Great for cocktails or with tonic or ginger beer! Fab gin alternative with tonic, mint & ice!
I read this rum was blended to go with tonic, and not being a gin fan I thought I’d give it a go. I was pleasantly surprised how well the two go together and tried it with both tonic, ice and smashed fresh mint but also with ginger ale (a bright & stormy!). They were all delicious. I’d thoroughly recommend this rum which doesn’t have added spices or sugars, just a pure and unique taste!
Great for mixing. Enjoyed it alot
