Libations Double Aged marries a blend of rums from Barbados, Jamaica, Guyana, and the Dominican Republic, each previously aged for between three and five years. After shipping to the UK, the blend is treated to a second maturation in bourbon casks at Libations HQ in Yorkshire. A good versatile option for all your classic serves and stands up well served neat too.
Toasted oak and buttery vanilla accompany soft butterscotch, prunes, and stone fruits. A touch of pepper nestles in the depths.
I've tried the other rums from Libations and this is just as great, a little more traditional but very smooth and great neat or with a touch of coke. Good job guys
