This stand-out limited edition bottling of The Kraken Black Spiced Rum is the first in the Legendary Survivors Series, celebrating the tales of the few who have experienced an encounter with the perilous sea beast and survived to tell the tale. With artwork by Justin Estcourt, this edition tells the story of a brave lighthouse keeper whose life was changed forever following a terrifying encounter with the monstrous Kraken. It looks like the sea beast has had a good go at the presentation tin here too, shaped like a cracked and battered lighthouse lantern that has been under attack.
Spicy and rich with notes of vanilla and toffee apples. Hints of lime and cinnamon too.
Dark, rich palate. Thick with molasses and tar, and a barrage of cinnamon, golden syrup, nutmeg, and charred oak.
Long, very spicy finish.
Just finished a bottle of Kracken and saw this on sale, not much more than a regular bottle so purchased another in the hope of saving it (unopened). Will see how that fares! Love the taste and this special edition really makes it something to savour
I needed to have this one as a collector's item and I was not able to get this edition anywhere in Germany. Therefore I ordered it here and was not disappointed. The bottle and the box look great and the package arrived just 5 days later in a perfect condition. German customs added another 28 € fee on top, but that was already expected by me when I ordered it. For sure another no-drink-bottle in my locker...
I buy Kraken spiced rum every Christmas for my son, I try to get a limited edition every year, I know where to get it, Master of Malt never disappoints.
Absolutely awesome, The Kraken does it again, cant wait till the launch of the rest of the series
