Kong Rum
Kong Rum is made with a base of aged Guatemalan rums from the Darsa Distillery, alongside a host of ingredients inspired by the habitat of mountain gorillas. This includes the likes of eucalyptus leaves, wild celery, blackberries, plantains, sugar cane, tender bamboo shoots, and a selection of herbs. The result is an intriguing spirit, which has a distinctive, fascinating, earthy, vegetal flavour profile. Also, the unique bottle is shaped like the head of a gorilla. The producer uses a portion of the proceeds to help support gorilla conversation through the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund and GRACE Gorillas.
