
The folks at Hensol Castle in Wales have created this flavourful addition to its range using a base of triple-distilled Caribbean rum, and re-distilling it for a fourth time with a host of exotic ingredients. Madagascan vanilla, caramel, fresh lime and orange peel, spiced berries, cinnamon, black pepper, and nutmeg are all in the mix. After distillation, the rum is enriched with a helping of caramel and dark chocolate for a decadent finish. The Hensol team recommend enjoying a 50ml measure of this over plenty of ice, topped with ginger ale and garnished with a slice of lime.

Really smooth, I even had some neat on the rocks as it was so nice
As a spiced rum drinker, I was interested to see how this went down. Full of vanilla and caramel, with notes of dark chocolate followed by fresh orange at the back. I have to say, this may be my favourite spiced rum I've tried in the last 12 months
