Bourbon
This is the 24th release in the single vintage Exceptional Cask Selection from legendary Barbados distillery Foursquare. This edition combines a blend of heavy and light marque 2011 vintage rums distilled on Foursquare's copper double retort pot still and its continuous twin column stills. The rum spent 12 years maturing in American oak bourbon casks in the warm Barbados climate before bottling at a robust 60% ABV.
Zesty lemon and Saville oil top note that runs over rich caramel and gentle notes of white chocolate, fresh ginger and dried coconut.
Treacle tart and vanilla ice cream. Juicy sultanas, poached summer fruits and tart Victoria plums at the back end.
Blueberry. Gentle notes of fresh ginger, black cherry, with a warming, dry finish and a little peppery spice at the end.
