Another fabulous Foursquare rum, all the way from Barbados and bottled up by That Boutique-y Rum Company! This particular expression is made with a combination of pot and column still spirits, and was finished for five years in an ex-Sauternes cask, imparting a helping of rich, decadent sweetness to the mix. The label features a load of birds, someone from Star Trek, and a particular brand of crisps. This must be referencing... Something... Right?
Zesty lime and green apple, a subtle hint of chocolatey molasses, coconut ice.
Chewy dates and sultanas, drizzled with toffee and honey. Some fresh orchard fruit notes pop up along the way, as does just the slightest hint of salinity.
