Peggy Dark Rum
An intriguing flavoured rum here named after a famous boat: Peggy of Castletown in the Isle of Man is the oldest surviving schooner vessel in the world, with links to 18th century smuggling tales... The rum itself was fermented and double distilled in Cornwall and aged with charred oak chips, with a little raw cane sugar and cold pressed coffee added for a dark, decadent spirit. It's also said to be produced using 100% wind and solar power. Renewable energy for the win!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
