Distilled at a secret Fiji distillery... Secret in the sense that indie bottler Dràm Mòr can't tell us, rather than in a secret underground bunker or something. At least we're pretty sure that's the case. This rum was matured for 12 years, spending its time in a bourbon barrel, followed by five months finishing in a Buffalo Trace cask, which yielded a total outturn of 212 bottles.
Tropical notes of banana and pineapple lead to woody char and sweet butterscotch. Quite vegetal with grassy, sugar cane funk, delicate vanilla, and a touch of herbal pepper.
