Doorly’s 5 Year Old is produced at the Foursquare Distillery in Barbados. Matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled without added sweeteners or flavourings, it is a solid, flavourful fum which should be ideal for cocktails, or a nice Rum Punch!
Butter popcorn and golden sugar syrup meet wafts of vanilla ice cream with toffee sauce. Pineapple cubes, melon juice, and slightly bitter, damp toasted oak. Short pepper prickle, with bittersweet pepparkakor biscuits on the finish.

I ha be bought this Rum 3 times to date it opens with spike form the alcohol, followed by mellow fruit and vanilla, the leges are wonderful long lasting. I save this for myself with a little water, and coke for a longer drink.
Too little taste reward for the strong burn.. Was recommended to me, but I wouldn't recommend it. Better rums for the price.
Bought this for a Christmas treat based on previous reviews and the price. Not disappointed at all, excellent sipping rum, mixed well too. Bottle polished off on New Years taste testing with four other rum drinkers, big thumbs up all round.
Real VFM nice rum both an easy sipper and mixer. Goes down easy without being too harsh. Hints of the suggested fruit come to the pallete.
For the price, toss your Mount Gay and Appleton basic rums, this is far better. Great in cocktails and neat.
