Distilled at Dictador in 2004, this rum spent its entire 18-year maturation in an American oak cask. Selected by master blender Hernan Parra, it's a superb example of the indulgent sipping style produced at the Columbian distillery.
Ginger and lemongrass, some honey notes and vintage leather. Sandalwood comes through, followed by deep notes of orange zest and mango.
The leather is the foundation for deliciously rich tropical fruit notes, oud, oak spices and some fresh pine notes. Toasted almonds, too.
