
A splendid sherry-finished rum from Dictador in Columbia, selected by master blender Hernan Parra. Distilled in 2005, this rum was treated to a stay in American oak before finishing its 17-year maturation in a sherry cask.
Freshly ground coffee, spiced oak, fresh turmeric, black pepper and some notes of black tea. Vanilla pods and soft sugar.
The vanilla really comes through backed with notes of red fruits, black grapes and some Cognac style fruitiness.
Soft toasted marshmallow, milk chocolate and orange notes on the finish.
