
This rum from Dictador was distilled in 2001, and spent its full 21 year maturation in an American oak cask. Selected by master blender Hernan Parra, it's an impressive example of the premium sipping style produced at the Columbian distillery.
Newly spun wool, freshly turned earth and oak spice, which is followed by cinnamon and nutmeg, with a note of lemon zest.
A really lovely soft creme brûlée note on the palate, underpinned with ginger and nutmeg, and some hints of ripe black cherries.
Banana and griddled pineapple with a hint of nutmeg.
