Berry Bros. & Rudd have bottled some delicious rum from the Diamond Distillery in Guyana. The vintage 2013 rum was aged in a single cask (#71), and then filled into 237 bottles at 59.5% ABV.
This is a delightfully elegant and lightly fruity rum. A luscious bed of honey aromas develops into dry menthol notes. The palate is dry, initially, until the honey gathers pace to give succulent bursts of sweet fruit.
