Damoiseau XO
Great rhum agricole from Guadeloupe's Damoiseau, the XO expression spends at least 6 years maturing in ex-bourbon casks before being bottled at 42% ABV. You'll want to try this served neat, or perhaps over ice, though we reckon some classic rhum agricole cocktails would benefit from its full bodied flavour profile.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Bright oak, green banana, cut grass, cinnamon, cassia, clove, black pepper and just a hint of tinned sweetcorn. Chewy caramel and dark chocolate notes develop on the palate, alongside tobacco and cherry.
