From Manchester-based Diablesse comes a Clementine Spiced Rum! It's made with Demerara rum from the Diamond Distillery in Guyana, using native sugar cane molasses and traditional pot and column still distillation. It's then naturally flavoured with clementine and a warm spice mix inspired by the Caribbean containing vanilla, ginger, cinnamon, star anise and clove.
Gingerbread, toasted cinnamon, clementine zest.
Toffee apple, clementine zest – balances cooked sugar.
Warm pimento, sticky gingerbread, sweetness balanced by ‘zestiness’: fresh, bright, vibrant, natural, soft warm spice.
Bought this for my boyfriend (I’m not usually a rum drinker). He loved it! He particularly loved that it has been distilled using traditional methods and had a natural sweetness. I have to say I liked it too as it doesn’t leave a harsh burn like some rums. We’re looking forward to trying the Caribbean one next!
This rum is so delicious! It’s smooth with no burn. It has a natural sweetness to it that’s great on its own or in cocktails. I’m definitely buying the other version they do too.
Unlike most spiced rums which can be a tad sickly sweet, this Rum is full of flavour and packs a punch too! It’s almost toooo moreish!!!
I absolutely loved this rum. I took it to a friend's party and everyone was bowled over by it! It's beautifully smooth when drunk on its own, and it's also great in cocktails we discovered! It doesn't have the harsh burn of other rums, and has a warm and sweet element to it. I will definitely be buying this rum again in the future.
