Fruity, green. Orchard fruits, herbal. Oak, vanilla, sweetness.
Light in body, but nonetheless spiced and warming. Crisp fruits, plenty of oak, orchard fruits.
Ends on apple peels, spice and toffee.

Looks great, sounds great but tastes like no rum to me, not a hint of sweetness or flavour, on a blind test you'd swear it was a whiskey.
Awful, waste my money
Very nice rum, and certainly more like a fine cognac. Most of the time i have as a sipping rum with ice, and it is delicious. Ihave tried it in an old fashioned, and it worked very well. I also substituted it for brandy in a Christmas mincemeat recipe ( a recipe by Jane Dunn / Jane's Patisserie), and it was brilliant. Interestingly, even in the mincemeat recipe there was still the grassy notes at the end. It's not unpleasant, just really distinctive.
Tastes more vanilla as the bottle goes down. Bit of grass on the aftertaste. Little or no burn. It has a richness and subtle oakiness that I really like. It's very different from molasses based rum but still very much tastes like rum.
Very good rum. Slightly smoky, smooth and sweet. There's a spicyness to it that you might not expect.
