Chairman's Reserve is distilled on the island of St Lucia and comprises a blend of pot still and Coffey column still rums, aged between four and five years in casks that previously held bourbon. With rounded layers of tropical fruit and spices, backed by waves of oaken vanilla, it'll work a treat in classic rum cocktails like a Mai Tai.
Rich, aromatic. Very fruity on the nose. Peppery.
Cooked apples, banana bread, nutmeg, allspice, vanilla, and Demerara sugar.
Sweet, creamy and very fruity.
Smooth, and warming hints of spice and apple with a long finish of butterscotch cream. A very nice rum. One of my favourites.
For the price and taste, this is a must have. A Very smooth rum which is St Lucia's best by far. Would definitely recommend this rum.
