Chairman's Reserve is distilled on the island of St Lucia and comprises a blend of pot still and Coffey column still rums, aged between four and five years in casks that previously held bourbon. With rounded layers of tropical fruit and spices, backed by waves of oaken vanilla, it'll work a treat in classic rum cocktails like a Mai Tai.
Rich, aromatic. Very fruity on the nose. Peppery.
Cooked apples, banana bread, nutmeg, allspice, vanilla, and Demerara sugar.

Very glad to receive this as a 40th birthday present. St Lucia is a new island for me rum-wise and it doesn’t disappoint. There’s a lot going on with this and I’m not sophisticated enough to identify all the notes. On the nose there’s a lovely marzipan bouquet and then the taste has a rich molasses hit with a dry spicy finish
Tried this for the first time on Father’s Day and it was the perfect end to an amazing day!

This rum is the best in its price range. Smooth and sweet to drink with interesting flavours but not overly sweet, just right.
