High-quality Dominican rum from the Brugal range, which is double distilled then matured in American oak barrels. After a lengthy maturation in the aforementioned barrels, the rum then enjoys a second maturation in Spanish oak sherry casks, helping to accentuate the rich fruity sweetness of the spirit.

Nose

Toasty and sweet with charred oak, sultanas, dates and honey, with a touch of gentle smoke.

Palate

Buttery and sweet with butterscotch, Demerara sugar, manuka honey and wafts of wood smoke.

This has to be my favourite amber rum, far too good to be adulterated with any mixer it's a rum to be savoured on quiet evenings. There is the initial sweetness and oakyness with hints of spice and tropical fruit all presented with a smoothness that only comes with skilful aging.

Just perfect!

I love rum anyway, but this takes taste to a whole new level. Plus the aesthetic is just amazing and adds to whole experience. What’s not to like. Quality outside and in.

Lovely

Smooth and easily drinkable. Very nice on ice and goes well with mixers. Lovely with coke. I really liked the bottle, it has a premium feel to it. Will be getting it for special occasions.
