A very special old rum from Brugal. This was twice distilled and aged in American oak before a finish in Spanish oak sherry casks. A delicious dark rum from the Dominican Republic.
Toasty and sweet with charred oak, sultanas, dates and honey, with a touch of gentle smoke.
Buttery and sweet with butterscotch, Demerara sugar, manuka honey and wafts of wood smoke.
Toffee apple and salty butter.
Been drinking it for the last 2 weeks absolutly perfect
The whole brugal range is up there with the best of them this one is good with lots of ice and just a spray of fresh lime over the top
If one wished to taste one good hispanic rum that has not been artificially sweetened (as so many are), this would be a great starting point. Excellent product, well done!

Complex nose, and a really nice mouthfeel. Absolutely perfect in a maple old fashioned, or just neat on the rocks in a smoking jacket - tobacco pipe optional, a nice change from bourbon 9every now and again).
