A mix of both light and full bodied rums produced in Angostura's five column still set up. It is aged for between 5 and 8 years in American Oak Bourbon barrels. The results are fruity, caramel rich and delicious.
A strong, aromatic nose with lightly wooded notes of coconut, cloves, butter caramel, lemon zest, and a hint of vanilla.
Soft and delicate, with notes of tropical fruits, green mangoes, and bananas.
Quick and lightly spiced with a sweet caramel fade.

Expected more from such a famous label. Strong acetone on the nose and a corn remover note to the palate almost overpowering the expected Rum flavours. Two tasting opinions coinciding. Almost thinking it's a bad bottle. Not Good
