A silky soft and quite spectacular tawny from Taylor's. The four decades in the wood have produced a wine of truly remarkable complexity.
So soft and amazingly succulent and sweet, with sugared peels, raisins, and other dried fruits, and dark chocolate and black pepper to balance.
Lashings of the typical dried fruit but there is added depth here, with an oaky dryness underlying and structuring the sweet richness of the port.
Ever so long, with sweet fruit and caramel.
A delicious port.

I’ve run out of superlatives for this one. A wonderful depth and richness, with a raisiny taste which reminds me of Pedro Ximénez sherry. Complex but with a beautiful pure Port sweetness running all the way through.
