Graham's boasts over 200 years in the winemaking industry, and here it pays homage to the craftsmanship and skill handed down over generations with an immensely impressive 40-year-old tawny Port. The arts of cooperage, ageing, and blending all play an important part in the production of an aged Port, and this expression, named A Testament to Time, showcases Graham's mastery of the three. Graham's cellar master composed this blend from wines put aside in the cellar by his great-grandfather, grandfather, father, and uncles, while also setting casks aside for future generations. It's recommended to enjoy this slightly chilled, served as a dessert in its own right, or paired with mature cheeses, nuts, or creamy desserts.
Graham’s 40 Year Old Tawny shows a golden amber colour, with a pale green tinge at the rim, denoting great age. On the nose, it is very complex with a powerful fragrance that belies its age. On the palate, it reveals an array of flavours, from delicate fruit and raisins to toasted toffee and chocolate with an outstanding aftertaste.
