Niepoort 10yo Tawny Port

This Niepoort Tawny Port is aged in small old oak casks (550 litre) for ten years, in the cellars at Vila Nova de Gaia, giving it that classic Tawny colour. This process is overseen by Niepoort’s master blender José Nogueira, who is also responsible for the skillful blending of the many different tawny ports that make up this 10 Year Old.

This sumptuous 10 Year Old is made with the following grape varieties: Tinta Amarela, Tinto Cão, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Francisca, and Sousão.

Reviews for Niepoort 10 Year Old Tawny Port
Interesting 10 year tawney
An interesting 10 year tawney.
I've had Dow's(sublime)Taylors('I'm here!') and Sandeman(sweet tooth) 10 year tawnies, and I'm afraid to say this is not one of my favourite experiences of a 10 year tawney...because it is fiery.
Managed 1/3rd bottle, but having to mix the rest with lemonade, and is much pleasanter to drink.
On a positive note,it will last longer!
I recommend Dow,Taylors or Sandeman 10 year tawnies. Otherwise,Martin de Sa(unaged tawney)is delicious and dependable.
