This is the 1998 vintage Fonseca Guimaraens Port, complete with a decanting funnel. Y'know. For decanting. The Guimaraens series from Fonseca are sometimes produced in years when there isn't a classic Fonseca Vintage Port.
Wonderfully jammy - particularly raspberry jam, if you were wondering which type of preserve its flavour profile closest resembles. Hints of fresh plum too. Medium tannins.
