Planteray XO Barbados 20th Anniversary
A superb-looking decanter bottle of XO rum from Barbados, aged in bourbon barrels before being shipped to France for a secondary maturation in Cognac casks from the Ferrand house. The result is a well-balanced rum with a remarkably long finish, with a palate of chocolate, banana, coconut and mango.
Tasting Notes
Nose:
Hints of spicy oak on the nose, with guava, a little desiccated coconut and dried banana. Buttery.
Palate:
Spiced, creamy palate entry, with sweet vanilla notes and caramel. Oak spices.
Finish:
Caramel. Toasted oak.

Planteray Cut and Dry
Originally released as a limited edition, but too good to stay that way, Cut & Dry is a beautifully balanced, coconut-infused Barbadian rum. Full of flavour and made to celebrate island heritage, it was made using hand-cut, sun-dried coconuts sourced from local farmers, with one whole coconut used per litre of alcohol. The dried coconut chunks are infused into a blend of pot and column still molasses-based rums, creating a deep, naturally sweet, and aromatic profile.
Tasting Notes
Nose:
Fresh coconut, vanilla, and light tropical fruits.
Palate:
Creamy coconut richness, hints of caramelised sugar, and warming oak spice.
Finish:
Long, smooth, and naturally sweet, with lingering toasted coconut.
