24 bottles of Bermondsey Tonic, created in Bermondsey (hence the name) by Nick Crispini and Lawrence Mason to compliment the flavours of gin, rather than potentially mask them. With a high quinine content, you'll want to keep these chilled before serving them along with your favourite gin.
No, no, no. I can ignore the slightly off putting colour but sadly it just didn't work for me
I bought this by mistake and when it arrived thought OMG i'm not drinking that - its BROWN. But I tried it and now OMG I'm never going back. Its perfect. Get over the odd colour and buy it. Its the perfect tonic.
This is a really excellent tonic water. It goes really well with our favourite gins. The label says most (all?) other tonic waters use solvent extracted quinine and are therefore clear. BTW uses a raw quinine extract and is therefore brown in colour. It certainly has a great taste. Personally, though, I don't have a very sweet tooth and prefer 'naturally less sweet' tonics, which have 6g of sugar per 100ml instead of the usual 8g. Unfortunately for me this doesn't seem to come in a less sweet version, but I don't think it would put most people off.
Just delicious. It's clean & crisp and doesn't have that weird chemical taste!
Bought a crate of this and didn't really care much for it. After a week or so of trying it just before i binned the rest i thought i would give it a second go. I added much less than i would normally would and wow! Subtle but amazing how it just makes every gin POP! Since then i have polished off the remaining bottles. Back here now to buy more and its out of stock; so sad. =(
