The creators of Mezcal Verde Amarás want to throw the doors of the mezcal world open to fans and newcomers alike with this well-rounded, approachable expression, produced following artisanal methods from eight-year-old Espadín agave. With a gently sweet profile and balanced notes of herbaceous smoke, it'll work a treat in a Mezcal Margarita.
Please note: Mezcal Verde Amarás features a variety of label designs, so your bottle might not match the one in the photo. All the designs are very lovely indeed, but we're afraid we can't guarantee which design you'll get.
Quite sweet with candied nuts and dried fruit, though classic mezcal smokiness develops later on.
by far the best value and smoothness of any mezcal at this price point. Spot on for a Margarita - gives you all the flavour and hint of smokiness you need. Love the different label you get every time too.
honestly the best mezcal margarita I have ever had - smokey but so smooth. absolute winner!
Definitely one for mixing, not as refined/balanced as other mezcals about £10 up in price. Worth splashing out for Del Maguey Vida if you want a sipper. But this is grand in cocktails
I really like this Mezcal, it has a lovely balance between the smoke and the sweeter notes. Also very good value...and I love the different labels.
Quite smoky. Not very complex. The label is not the one on you see above either. Still nicer than tequila though!
