An excellent mezcal produced for the El Cortijo range under the watchful eye of mezcalero Alvaro Hernandez, using well-matured Espadín agave. Double distilled and bottled at 45% ABV. Wonderfully weird label on it, too.
Dry smoke and cut herbs, with a lingering hint of orange juice giving it some sweetness.
