Wye Valley Meadery
In the heart of the Wye Valley in the Welsh borders, Wye Valley Meadery keeps its own bees, producing honey from the pollens of the surrounding countryside. The honey is used to make this wonderful Traditional Mead – with a volume of over 50% honey per bottle, or could you say 50% HBV - Honey By Volume? We're pretty sure that's not a official measurement, but maybe one day...
Sweet, rich, decadent, honey with plenty of floral blossom and a caramel sweet mouthfeel.
Honestly the best mead I have ever tried. A very different style to the cheaper meads, this one is actually made from proper honey. Not sickly sweet, just perfect. Good in a cocktail too!
