Not as sweet as their Traditional Mead, Lyme Bay Winery's West Country Mead has a spicy kick to it alongside the classic honey wine sweetness. It’s best served at room temperature and even goes pretty well with spicy food, if you can handle that sort of thing.
Full notes of sweet honey wine with a spicy overtone.
It lacks the promised "spicy kick". I found it rather bland and thin, but drank it with tonic as an alternative to a G&T, which wasn't too bad. I wish I hadn't ordered two.
